Martin graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno, where he is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at the Department of Financial Law and National Economy. During his master’s studies, he completed a one-year stay at the Faculty of Law of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.

He has spent more than five years working in the judiciary as a judge’s assistant at a district court, where he gained extensive experience particularly in the field of civil and enforcement law. He also acquired international experience during an internship at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Gothenburg and as a representative of the Czech Republic at the international THEMIS competition in Naples.

He is the author of academic and popular-science articles in the fields of law, economics, and human rights, published in Czech, Polish, and English, and a regular participant in international legal conferences. He has also cooperated with the Centre for Human Rights and Democracy, where he interned for two years and later became the editor of its English bulletin.

He is native in Czech and fluent in English and Polish.
